Through fundraising, partnerships and community events such as the Giant Winter Walk, we provide grants that help local organisations deliver meaningful support where it is needed most.

Homelessness and hardship affect individuals, families and communities across the UK. Many organisations are doing exceptional work, but demand for support continues to grow.
Whether you are a charity, community group, volunteer, donor or local business, you can play a part in helping people rebuild their lives.
Together we can support projects that provide practical assistance, improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and create opportunities for those facing difficult circumstances.
Community Grants
Registered charities, community groups, schools, CICs and other not for profit organisations may apply for funding from Lights Up.
We are particularly interested in projects that:
• Prevent homelessness and housing insecurity
• Support individuals and families experiencing hardship
• Improve wellbeing and resilience
• Reduce loneliness and social isolation
• Encourage volunteering and community participation
• Provide practical support and opportunities for vulnerable people
